Day in the Life at Union

Our Day in the Life at Union visits are an opportunity for high school seniors and prospective transfer students to attend a class and lunch with current Union students to experience life at the College. This weekday visit option is usually available on select Mondays and Fridays in the fall for prospective students, and January through April for admitted students.

Spring Day in the Life Visits for Admitted Students

Spend a morning or afternoon with us. Admitted students are invited to attend a class and enjoy lunch in the dining hall with Union students. The morning visit will begin at 11:30 a.m. and conclude by 2:00 p.m. The afternoon visit will begin at 12:35 p.m. and conclude by 3:00 p.m.

While students are attending class and lunch, accompanying guests are encouraged to explore Union and Schenectady on their own. Our Guidebook tour provides a self-guided, outdoor tour of our historic campus, and we're happy to provide directions and recommendations for lunch in Schenectady.

To participate in our Spring Day in the Life experience:

  • Students must be admitted to Union and entering college in 2024.
  • Students will register in their Union applicant portal and must sign up at least 7 days in advance. Space is limited.
  • Registration opens March 16!

Our visit dates are select Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from April 1 - May 1. The complete schedule and registration will be available in the applicant portal.
