David Dussault '00 was recently named one of the Capital Region's 2026 Achievers, an honor that recognizes individuals for their excellence and impact. Dussault, founder and CEO of P1 Industries, received Executive of the Year honors.

Defector.com recently published an interview with Matthew Futterman '91, "'The Cruelest Game' examines tennis as torture," about his new book. Futterman is a veteran sports journalist with The New York Times. He has previously worked for The Wall Street Journal, The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Star-Ledger of New Jersey, where he was a part of the team that won the Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News in 2005.

Julie Greifer Swidler ’79, chair of Union's Board of Trustees, was recently honored as a Music Visionary of the Year by the UJA-Federation of New York. Swidler, who retired at the end of June, had served as executive vice president of business affairs and general counsel for Sony Music Entertainment since 2008.
