Need-Based Aid
The deadline for all aid application materials is May 5, 2023.
- 2023-2024 CSS Profile - Union's Profile school code is 2920 (To be considered for institutional need-based grant) If the biological parents of the applicant are separated or divorced, Union requires the non-custodial parent (NCP) to file the CSS Profile as well.
- 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) – Union's FAFSA school code is 002889 (To determine federal financial aid)
- Verification Worksheet - Dependent Worksheet or Independent Worksheet
- Parent and Student 2021 Federal Tax Return and supporting schedules. In addition to the tax return, we recommend that parents and students also utilize the IRS Data Retrieval Tool on the FAFSA
- Parent and Student 2021 W-2 forms
- Non-custodial Parent 2021 Federal Tax Return with supporting schedules and W-2s (if applicable)
- NYS Student Aid Payment Application (ETA) For NY Residents to apply for the Tuition Assistance Program Grant (TAP)
For families who have experienced a change in circumstances, you may submit the 2023-2024 Change in Family Circumstances Form.

- 2021 foreign income documentation (translated into US dollars). Examples of income documentation are:
- The country's tax return, or
- Signed statement from your parent's employer(s) on the company's letterhead indicating annual wages, bonuses, benefits, subsidies, or perquisites. The statement should indicate if the income is gross income (before taxes) in which case we need to know the taxes paid
- Non-Custodial Parent 2021 foreign income documentation (translated into US dollars) - if applicable - see examples above
