Every Union Student takes Perspectives courses from a range of eight liberal arts disciplines: literacy, numeracy, foreign language, creative expression, ethical society, history, natural science, and technology.
Each Perspectives course course falls under one of our two Areas of Inquiry: Global Challenges (G), or Justice, Equity, Identity, and Diversity (J). You will select a variety of Perspectives courses within these categories.
There are many possible paths to completing the Perspectives requirements. Whether you discover an academic interest through a Perspectives course or vice versa, you're exploring connections between disciplines.
No matter how you choose to satisfy the Perspectives requirements, you will gain a deeper understanding of the complex dynamics that shape our world.
