Counselor Visits, Virtual Events & Tours

We welcome counselors year-round for our combined tour and information session. To register, select the date and time and indicate you are a counselor on the registration form.

To see campus without a reservation or at a different time of day, take a self-guided outdoor or virtual tour of our historic campus with voices and stories from our student tour guides.

Counselors are welcome to attend our virtual events for prospective students. We offer Virtual "Discover Union" Open Houses on select Mondays and Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. EST.

These counselor tours continue to be very popular. If you wish to be placed on the waiting list for these tours, email Lilia Tiemann, tiemannl@union.edu. Note: these tours are geared primarily for school counselors. We also welcome counselors to visit our campus any time your schedule permits. Let us know if you would like to schedule a visit to Union by emailing admissions@union.edu.

Each Spring in early May, students of Union College from all class years and disciplines present their research to the campus community at Steinmetz Symposium. The two day Steinmetz Counselor Program is a great opportunity to learn about Union in depth, connect with students and faculty, experience Schenectady, and explore how our students take advantage of faculty mentored research opportunities. To demonstrate interest and be added to the mailing list, please email your territory dean.

Please note that the Steinmetz Symposium is at the time of AP exam coordination and space is limited.
