Juan Paneto was several credits short of his degree when he left Union in 1992. The pandemic allowed him to complete his coursework remotely nearly 30 years later.

A study on conspiracy theories by Joshua Hart, associate professor of psychology, and his student, Molly Graether ‘17, was cited by the FiveThirtyEight, a popular blog that covers a broad spectrum of subjects including politics, sports, science, economics and popular culture.

The 2018 research suggests that people with certain personality traits and cognitive styles are more likely to believe in conspiracy theories.

Union held its 227th Commencement on Sunday, June 13. More than 470 seniors in the Class of 2021 received degrees.
