Three to present at CASE conference

Several members of Union’s College Relations team will speak at the CASE conference in Baltimore Feb. 6-8. Ken George, Web director, will lead a session titled “So, You Think You Want a Social Media Strategy. . . ” with Doug Gapinski, creative director of mStoner, Union’s web integration partner. They will discuss what constitutes a successful social media presence for schools, colleges and universities today. Jill Hungsberg, senior director of Marketing and Communications, and Michael Fallone, director of id29, Union’s design partner, will lead a panel on branding with members of the communications team at Rutgers University. The panel will examine strategies for rebranding historic institutions and engaging “brand ambassadors” to effectively communicate key messages. Kate Potvin, senior director of Annual Giving, will discuss how to build a thriving annual fund program. CASE, the Council for Support and Advancement of Education, is a professional network for individuals in all areas of institutional advancement, including alumni relations, communications, government relations and development.
