Monica Duffy Toft to give annual Wold lecture

Monica Duffy Toft of Harvard University will deliver the 2011 Wold Lecture on Religion and Conflict on Tuesday Oct. 25 at 5:30 p.m. at the Nott Memorial.

Her talk is titled, “God’s Century: Resurgent Religion and Global Politics.”

Toft is an associate professor of public policy at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. She is also an author, former Carnegie Scholar and served as a Russian voice interceptor in the U.S. Army. She is also currently the director of the Belfer Center’s Initiative on Religion in International Affairs.

All members of the campus community, as well as the public, are welcome to attend this lecture. There will be a dinner and discussion with Toft in Wold House following her presentation.
