Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Russo, whose novels draw heavily from his experiences growing up in the foothills of the Adirondacks, delivered the keynote address at Founders Day Thursday, Feb. 23. The event commemorates the 217th anniversary of the College’s charter.

Russo and President Stephen C. Ainlay, who has urged the campus community to appreciate the College’s location in the Mohawk Valley and the breadth of opportunities that affords, appeared on WAMC's The Roundtable with Joe Donahue. WAMC, Northeast Public Radio is a member of National Public Radio serving parts of seven northeastern states. These include New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Jersey, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania.
