This week’s Kenney Community Center Volunteer of the Week is Brittany Volpe ’13.
A resident advisor in College Park Hall, Volpe volunteers at the Joan Nicole Prince Home. She is also a member of Colleges Against Cancer and the Pre-Health Society Club.
For the past three years, Volpe has also donated her time as a STEP Regional Science Bowl moderator hosted by the Kenney Center. “It’s fun, educational and I love seeing such young, brilliant people strive for success,” she said.
“We could never run an event like the Science Bowl without the dedication and enthusiasm of volunteers like Brittany,” Janet Sweeney, program coordinator, said.
Originally from Southington, Conn., Volpe is majoring in neuroscience and Spanish.
