The Chronicle of Higher Education recently published a letter from Therese A. McCarty, the Stephen J. and Diane K. Ciesinski Dean of Faculty and Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Mary Carroll, professor of chemistry, about the number of women faculty in the chemistry department.
