The program will begin with Joseph Haydn’s “Piano Trio in E-flat Major, Hob. XV: 29,” continue with Mendelssohn’s “String Quartet No. 2 in A Minor, Op. 13” and conclude with Shostakovich’s “Piano Quintet in G Minor, Op. 57.”

Now celebrating its 47th season, the Musicians From Marlboro touring program was created as an extension of Vermont’s famed Marlboro Music Festival where the concept of having master artists play together with exceptional young professional musicians was born. On the road, the model also provides valuable touring experience to artists at the beginning of their careers and the programs are noted for featuring beloved chamber repertoire.

The quintet features violinists Hye-Jin Kim and Tien-Hsin Cindy Wu; violist Philip Kramp; and pianist Anna Polonsky performing with legendary cellist Peter Wiley. Wiley is a former member of the Beaux Arts Trio and Guarneri Quartet and founding member of the piano quartet Opus One.

Individual tickets are $20 for adults and $8 for students. Those from the campus community can attend for free. For information, call (518) 388-6080 or click here.
