Students collecting signatures for Holocaust Remembrance Day

Publication Date

The Chabad student group has recently launched a project, "Always Remember, Never Forget: Union Chabad Holocaust Remembrance Day Project."

As an observance of Holocaust and Heroism Remembrance Day, or Yom HaShoah, students are collecting 6 million signatures via the Internet and in print, one for every Jewish person killed in the Holocaust.

Chabad has created a Facebook event where people can write their name on the event wall.

Others can physically send their signatures and hometown to: Ariel Gomberg, 807 Union Street #852, Schenectady, N.Y., 12308. On Thursday, April 19, the signatures will be hung in Reamer Campus Center in observance of the importance of the day.
