Wikoff Student Gallery to host new works by Johannah Ryan '12

Works by Johannah Ryan '12 will be featured in a new show at the Wikoff Student Gallery in the Nott Memorial.

Her show, “Outside-In: A Whimsical Exploration of Containment," focuses on sculpture inspired by function, though paradoxically nonfunctional. It will be on display April 12 to May 6.

“Art should imitate life in a way that reminds us of life’s beauty, which is often overlooked because of its ubiquity," Ryan said.

An artist’s reception will be held Friday, April 13 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Wikoff Student Gallery.
