As a resident of Wells House, the community service theme house, Roth donates her time and energy to various community organizations. An annual participant in events such as John Calvin Tolls Day, the STEP Science Bowl and the SICM Day of Service, she also hosts a weekly event called ChariTea Time, which combines tea and community service by partnering with organizations like Bethesda House and Cocoa House.

This year, Roth even served as co-host of the Volunteer Appreciation Banquet hosted by the Kenney Center and Wells House. She also is the treasurer of the Multi-Faith Forum, publicity chair for the Mountebanks and a first-year orientation advisor. Roth also participates in the ballroom dance and fencing clubs, as well as the Intervarsity Christian Fellowship.

“Jasmine does a lot of community service through Wells House and can always be counted on to help out with our Kenney Center events,” Janet Sweeney, program director, said.

Originally from Manchester, N.H., Roth is a theater major with a dance minor and is a frequent participant in stage and dance productions. She was also welcomed this year into the Seward Fellows Program for which she created an interdisciplinary minor in creative multimedia narrative.

“I love being involved on this campus in many different ways,” she said.
