Students in internships get a leg up on later employment

Bob Soules, director of the Becker Career Center, was interviewed recently by the Sunday Gazette about the value of internships.

Lucas First ’12, a neuroscience major and president of Nu Rho Psi Honor Society, shared how internships while at Union helped him in landing a full-time research assistant position at the Weight Control and Diabetes Research Center in Providence, R.I.

The article also mentioned Christina Wong '13, a physics major at Union.
