Volunteer of the Week

This week’s Kenney Community Center’s Volunteer of the Week is Samantha Tyler ’14.

This year, she is the Union College Obenzinger Scholar, a prestigious scholarship awarded to a junior or senior who will attend medical school. During the year, she will work on a public health project focusing on an anti-smoking campaign on campus and in the surrounding community.

Originally from Long Island, N.Y., Tyler is a pre-med and neuroscience double major with an English and math double minor. She is also a member of the Alpha Delta Lambda community service sorority, a member of the Concordiensis staff and a Minerva Mentor for Messa House.
