Christopher Chabris, associate professor of psychology, co-authored an op-ed in the New York Times with his research partner, Daniel Simons of the University of Illinois. The pair analyzed a recent paper that found obesity to be more prevalent in areas with more outdoor food advertising, and then went on to suggest a need for regulation and taxation of such "obesigenic" ads.
