New Wikoff exhibit focuses on LGBTQ issues

The latest exhibit recently opened at the Wikoff Student Gallery focuses on LGBTQ issues featuring works by students and alumni.

“lgbtq at Union” is the fifth annual exhibit of LGBTQ-themed artwork. This year’s exhibition includes pieces by both students and alumni, working in painting, photography, film and a rap performance.

The exhibit runs until June 13.

Work included in the exhibit is by Melanie Gonzalez ’13, Elite Williams ’13, AJ Nadel ’56, Shanna Saldana ’14, Deanna Zembrzuski ’14, Sari Greenberg ’13, Drew Romano ’14, Andy Stinchfield ’13 and Pengfei Zhang ’13.

An opening reception will be held at 12:45 p.m. Thursday, May 16 in the Nott Memorial. The event will feature a vocal performance by Gonzalez and Williams. For more information, call (518) 388-6004.
