Ram Batta ’15 is this week’s Volunteer of the Week at the Kenney Community Center.
Batta volunteers regularly at the center’s after-school programs and recently organized to lead a program with his Kappa Alpha members at Arts Books and Crafts. Kappa Alpha is one of the groups involved in this weekend’s John Calvin Toll Day of Service.
The chemistry and economics interdisciplinary major also oversees the Octopus’s Garden Club and spend several hours a week at the garden. He is from Buffalo, N.Y. where he volunteers at a local veteran’s hospital.
