This week’s Kenney Community Center Volunteer of the Week is Diana Tettey ’14.
Tettey is an active member of the Heavenly Voices Gospel Choir. She is also vice president of the choir’s Executive Board. A biology major and anthropology minor, one of Tettey’s greatest passions is dance. This year, she leads a free, weekly dance class for children in Old Chapel.
“I’m happy to share my passion with kids that are willing to express themselves and learn,” said Tettey.
Last year, She was a co-organizer of the One Billion Rising flash mob in Reamer Campus Center. The event was part of a global campaign to raise awareness about violence toward women.
