The College will celebrate Adirondack Week, celebrating the environmental and historical aspects inside the blue line of the 6.1 million-acre park.
The events are as follows:
Sunday, May 4 – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Hiking Trip to Prospect Mountain, Lake George.
A moderate three-mile round-trip hike up Prospect Mountain from the Lake George Village. Transportation provided. Registration: April 24 and 29, noon to 2 p.m. in Reamer Campus Center. Bus will leave from Old Chapel Circle at 10 a.m.
Monday, May 5 – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Adirondack Week Kick-Off Fair. An informational fair about the Adirondacks featuring a rock climbing wall, live music, entertainment and refreshments. Front lawn of Reamer Campus Center

Wednesday, May 7 – 1-2 p.m.
“ A Taste of the Adirondacks” with chef Stephen Topper. He will prepare three classic Adirondack foods for sampling, and Hallie Bond, former curator of the Adirondack Museum, will share historic stories. Old Chapel. Space is limited.
Thursday, May 8 – 5-8 p.m.
Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Wilderness Act. A reception and celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act with keynote speakers, Ed Zahniser and Chad P. Dawson.
