The volunteers from UCARE Day are this week’s Kenney Community Center’s Volunteers of the week.
Over 700 local children and their families attended the 18thannual UCARE Day, enjoying activities, games and food such as pizza and cotton candy. More than 25 clubs, organizations and teams from the College donated their time to the event in addition to other representatives from the community.
Ulcha Ulysse ’14 and Fatima Hosain ’15 were the student coordinators who planned the event, securing volunteers, donations and publicity.
In addition to the Alumni Office for supporting UCARE Day throughout ReUnion Weekend, the Kenney Center would also like to recognize the following campus organizations for volunteering:
