Jennifer Lawton ’85, MakerBot CEO, to discuss entrepreneurship, 3D printing

Jennifer Lawton ’85 will return to Union to discuss her role as chief executive officer of MakerBot, a leader in reliable 3D printing, scanning and entertainment.

Lawton’s talk will be at common hour Monday, Oct. 6 in the Nott Memorial.

She was recently appointed CEO of MakerBot after three years as the company’s president and chief strategy officer. She has been responsible for the overall strategy and growth of the company, including strategic partnerships, product development and retail, in addition to the merger with MakerBot’s parent company, Stratasys. She is also currently a board member at the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership.
