The Department of Theater and Dance will present its springtime production of "Fuddy Meers," running May 25-29 at the Yulman Theater.

Fuddy Meers

The play involves amnesiac Claire, a kidnapping, and revelations that only the resulting mayhem could uncover. William Finlay, chair of the Theater and Dance Department, directs the performance. The cast includes William Balta '16, James Basuk '17, Ariella Honig '17, Lucy Miller '16, Colin Nelson '16 and Shauntai Quinlon '17. Stage management is by Cassandra Padilla '17, Cyrus Shahgholi '18 and Megan Wells '18.

Finlay said the play would resonate with students. “It is a very funny comedy with an important social message,” he said. “It has acting roles that challenge our student actors and allow them to show their comedic potential.”

Ariella Honig ‘17 reflected on what is most rewarding about her passion: “To finally perform your work in front of an audience and hear people laugh and react to all the hard work you put in for the past eight weeks.”

"Fuddy Meers" runs Wednesday, May 25, through Sunday, May 29, at 7:30 p.m., with a Sunday afternoon show at 2. Tickets are $7 with a Union ID and for alumni and senior citizens. General admission is $10. To reserve tickets, go to the Yulman Box Office from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., or call (518) 388-6545.
