Another ADAY4U for the record books

Publication Date

This year’s ADAY4U was another one-day fundraiser for the record books.

The goal was to reach 1,795 donors in a single day, which would unlock an additional $200 per gift from the Union trustees. While numbers continue to be finalized, 2,414 donors gave $365,683. Including the trustee match $482,800, donors gave a total of $848,483 to the College's Annual Fund Wednesday.

President Stephen C. Ainlay stopped by Reamer Campus Center to make his ADAY4U gift, and Garnet Society students presented him with a book of thank you notes for he and his wife, Judith Gardner Ainlay. Through June 30, the College is running “Drive for $5M,” which is an opportunity for the campus community to show their support and say thank you to the Ainlays for their contributions. .

Throughout ADAY4U, members of the Union community, including alumni, parents, students, faculty and staff, expressed their school pride online using the #ADAY4U hashtag. Top alumni classes in total donors included 1973, 1992 and 2012.
