An essay by Kimmo Rosenthal, professor of mathematics, was published in the "meta on meta" section of The Decadent Review. The goal was to write a critical essay about someone else's critical literary essay. The published essay was about reading Maurice Blanchot's Readingfrom his collection The Gaze of Orpheus.

Deidre Hill Butler, associate professor of sociology, has been selected as a summer scholar for the Faculty Resource Network at New York University.

A digital single composed by Hilary Tann, the John Howard Payne Professor of Music Emerita, was released today by Navona Records. “And the Snow Did Lie” is based on the lithographs by Andre Bergeron. Learn more and listen here.
