Black History Month events planned

Throughout February, the College will be hosting a range of events to celebrate Black History Month. Events are sponsored by the Black Student Union, Caribbean Student Association, African Student Association and the Office of Intercultural Affairs. Additional details on all of these events will be provided in campus events emails. All events listed will be virtual.

Feb. 9, 6:15 p.m. - Identity Dialogue 2.0 - Do All Afro-Caribbean Students Think the Same?

Feb. 12, time TBD - Film screening of “Get Out” (co-hosted with the Film Club)

Feb. 16, 5:30 p.m. - Music through the Decades

Feb. 19, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Black History Month Luncheon

Feb. 23, time TBD – “Amplified Black Voices: Black, Young & Politically Active” featuring Ciara Smith, Council Member of Anniston, Al.

Feb. 25, 6 p.m. – “Social Determinants of Health”

Feb. 26 at 5 p.m. – Black Excellence Ball celebration
