The Wikoff Student Gallery is accepting entries from all Union College students, faculty, staff and alumni for the exhibit, “LGBTQ+ @Union,” set for winter term.

The gallery is located on the third floor of the Nott Memorial.

“We hope to focus the exhibition on LGBTQ+ rights and transgender youth, and encourage entries related to these topics,” said Sarah Mottalini, curatorial assistant of Art Collections and Exhibitions.

“We will be accepting submissions throughout fall term. To ensure your work will be included, please submit your entry before winter break.”

Individuals are asked to send an image of their artwork(s) with a statement about the work and a basic description, including title, year created, size and medium, to mottalis@union.edu.

Works may include painting, drawing, illustration, sculpture, photography, poetry, short fiction, digital art, film, performance and music. All physical artwork must be ready to hang.

This year marks the ninth “LGBTQ+ @Union” exhibit, which provides a platform for expression and shared experiences for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, other gender identities and sexually diverse groups, and the ally community.
