Research interests

Power system electromechanical mode estimation and forced oscillation detection and location using synchrophasors; digital forensics using power system frequency interference; ultra low cost phasor measurement unit design; audification of synchrophasors for power-grid-composed music; the use of a drum set as an education tool for understanding power grid signal processing approaches.

Teaching interests

Alternative energy, electric circuits, electric power, electromagnetics, and signal processing applications in power grids.

Research Engineer (Assured Information Security, 2012-2014), Adjunct Professor in Electrical Engineering (University of Wyoming, 2012), Postdoctoral Research Associate (University of Wyoming, 2010-2012).
