A study on conspiracy theories by Joshua Hart, associate professor of psychology, and his student, Molly Graether ‘17, was cited by Thomas B. Edsall in a column in the New York Times. A subscription may be required to access the column.

The 2018 research suggests that people with certain personality traits and cognitive styles are more likely to believe in conspiracy theories.
