National media outlets feature President David R. Harris's thoughts on Supreme Court's ruling on affirmative action

The Supreme Court on Thursday struck down race-conscious admissions policies for most colleges and universities across the country in a pair of cases challenging affirmative action at Harvard and the University of North Carolina.

President David R. Harris shared his thoughts about the decision with a number of national media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, the Associated Press and Inside Higher Ed.

He was also quoted in a story by The Daily Gazette.

Shena McAuliffe, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Assistant Professor of English, discussed her latest collection of short stories, "We Are A Teeming Wilderness," with the Daily Gazette.

She joined Union in 2018.
