Dear Union College Community:
As we all strive to live up to the ideals upon which our country was founded - the forming of a more perfect Union, if you will - I think it is especially appropriate on Veterans Day to note the work and sacrifice of those who have time and again defended those ideals through their service in our branches of the military.
To all those in our community, or their family members who have served - or continue to serve - in the military, please accept my sincere thanks for your commitment and service. They are both very much appreciated.
