Dear Union College Community:
Yesterday, our chief diversity officers sent a message to the community regarding the tragic mass shooting in Buffalo over the weekend. If you haven’t already, I urge you to read their words and plan to attend the vigil planned for 1 p.m. tomorrow in front of Memorial Chapel.
I also encourage you to spend a few minutes viewing the video below where I share additional thoughts on the larger issue of hate that has led to this, and other similar tragedies, in recent years and some of what each of us can do to lead against hate in ways big and small.
