The Engineering Ambassadors are the Kenney Community Center’s volunteers of the week.
Union’s chapter of Engineering Ambassadors are part of a national network of undergraduate engineering students who work with female and underrepresented groups of middle and high school students to change the conversation about engineering.
They aim to inspire the next generation of engineers by visiting with local students and engaging them in activities that relate to engineering.
The Ambassadors include: Tenzin Youdon '15, Megan Mancuso '15, Nick Finamore '15, Tim Sheehan '15, Arsal Habib '16, Raquel Paramo '17, Bin Chen '15, Ian Davies '15, Alexis Wojtowicz '17, Dani Liu '15, Alexander Chu '17 and Mengyi Zhu '17.
Habib, Liu, Youdon and Zhu presented a workshop to students involved in the Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP) last week.
