Wold Lecture on Religion and Conflict coming Thursday

On Thursday, Nov. 6 at 5:30 p.m., Prof. Ebrahim Moosa of the University of Notre Dame will be delivering the annual Wold Lecture on Religion and Conflict in the Nott Memorial. His lecture is titled “Negotiating the Ethical in Islamic Law: Practices, Politics and Tradition.”

Moosa is currently professor of Islamic Studies in the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies and in the History Department at Notre Dame. Prior to his current position, Moosa taught at Duke University and Stanford University, and he is world renowned for his research on Islam.
