Author Sara Hacala to host workshop for Union employees

On May 19 and 20, the Human Resources department is hosting a workshop

Sara Hacala

for Union employees with Sara Hacala, renowned etiquette and protocol trainer.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the College Park Ballroom, employees can participate in an interactive morning focusing on trust, respect and awareness. Hacala is the author of “Saving Civility: 52 Ways to Tame Rude, Crude and Attitude for a Polite Planet,” in which she discusses manners and considerate behavior.

Hacala believes that “respect and consideration can shape the civility of the planet and foster personal and global connections, resulting in greater awareness, understanding and acceptance of all people in the world.”

The event will include lunch and a discussion, as well as a raffle. To register, contact Gwen at Human Resources, extension 6304. With registration, you will also receive a complimentary copy of Hacala’s book.
