I am reading "The New Jim Crow" by Michelle Alexander.
Given the events of this past year and summer, I wanted to take some time to reflect on a national issue touching the lives of everyone and being played out on television, newspapers and social media, especially as our election cycle begins to heat up. As we think about issues of social justice, this book is well written and most timely.
