David McCullough on speeches and the American spirit

Noted historian David McCullough’s latest book, “The American Spirit: Who We Are and What We Stand For” is a collection of speeches culled from the scores McCullough has given over the past 25 years to a variety of audiences. Included is his 1994 commencement speech at Union.

McCullough talked about his speech at Union on WAMC, Northeast Public Radio, The Roundtable.

Northeast Public Radio is a member of National Public Radio serving parts of seven northeastern states. These include New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Jersey, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania.
