The Schenectady County Human Rights Commission recognized Union’s chapter of My Brother’s Keeper with its 2019 Group Achievement Award. Student mentors include Rashawn Baldwin-White ’20, Richard Boakye ’20, Anthony Boone, Jr. ’19, Romario Duncan ’20, Tawreek “Ty” Eddington ’21, Jeremy Heath ’19, Joel Jailall ’21, Diron Kelly ’19, Christopher Klein ’19, Delano McFarlane ’19, Luis Mota ’21, Seraj Sidibe ’19 and Stevie Tchako-Tchokonassi ’20. Jason Benitez, director of Multicultural Affairs, attended the HRC breakfast to accept the award for Union.

Twitty Styles, professor emeritus, will host a book signing at The Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza at 6 p.m., Thursday, May 30. He will be signing copies of his new book, “Son of Prince Edward County.” Learn more here.
