The New2U Community Closet is the campus thrift store. Our inventory includes professional clothing, winter coats and jackets, hoodies, pants, and even some vintage Union merch! All items are free for Union students!
When available, students can also get dorm accessories such as mirrors, bedding, fans, mugs, plates and silverware.
Furthermore, students are encouraged to also donate back to the Community Closet any gently used items that are no longer of use to them but could be helpful for another peer.
The Closet is overseen by the Class Deans office in collaboration with the Kenney Center and the Office of Sustainability as well as several other partners across campus. We also are looking to collaborate with student organizations and departments across campus for any events! Our team of students also organize a pop-up every term around different themes and events so keep an eye out on our social media account!
