More than 1,500 guests – friends, parents, alumni and students – will be on campus (Sept. 30 – Oct. 2) for Homecoming and Family Weekend. They’ll enjoy all the perennial favorites (like the tailgate picnic), plus a few exciting new offerings (like birding in Jackson’s Garden).
“We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to campus for a fun and memorable fall weekend,” said Molly Harbour, associate director of alumni and parent engagement. “We have something for everyone, from pumpkin carving and sports to ghost tours and a re-creation of the cult classic film, ‘Hocus Pocus.’”

Friday
- “Fall for Fringe” Dance Party (3:45 p.m.)
- First Gen & Students of Color Family Reception (4 p.m.)
- Golub House Oktoberfest with President David Harris (5:30 p.m.)
- Ghost tours (6 p.m.)
- “It’s Just a Bunch of Hocus Pocus!” (8 p.m.)
Saturday
- Tailgate picnic (11 a.m.)
- Harvest dinner (6 p.m.)
- Ghost tours (6 p.m.)
- ACE trivia night (8 p.m.)
Sunday
- Farewell breakfast (9 a.m.)
- Birding in Jackson’s Garden (9 a.m.)
Athletic contests throughout the weekend include football, women’s field hockey, men’s rugby, women’s soccer and men’s ice hockey. Tickets are available for purchase on the Athletics site.
