As chants of “Let’s go U” filled a packed Memorial Chapel, Union officially kicked off its 232nd academic year with an hour-long ceremony Tuesday afternoon. Forging a new path: Union celebrates the inauguration of President Elizabeth Kiss

Union officially ushered in a new era with the inauguration Friday afternoon of Elizabeth Kiss as its 20th president. Kiss (pronounced quiche) assumed the presidency July 1. She took over for David Harris, who stepped down in June after seven years as president. Kiss is the first woman to lead Union in its 230-year history.
