Bloomberg Terminal

COVID-19 Update: The Bloomberg Terminal and the Bloomberg Market Concepts course are remotely accessible to the Union community until June 30. For information on accessing the Bloomberg Terminal and Bloomberg Market Concepts remotely, please visit our Remote Access guide.

The Bloomberg Terminal is a computer system that allows scholars to access the Bloomberg data service, which provides real-time financial data, news feeds, and messages for analysis and study. It is located on the first floor of Schaffer Library near the entrance to Technical Services.

Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) is a self-paced ten-hour e-learning course that provides an interactive introduction to both the financial markets and the Bloomberg Terminal. For students in particular, BMC can be a helpful credential in job applications, offering a certificate of completion that can be mentioned on résumés.
