Jay Kibby joined the Schaffer Library as the Head of Resource Management in December 2025. In this role, he oversees the acquisition, renewal, physical processing, licensing, and budget management of the Library’s collections, consisting of print and online books and journals, databases and streaming video.
His professional interests include the expansion of open access, new and emerging online content access models and enhancements to acquisitions and renewal processes.
Before joining Union, Jay was the Online Resources and Acquisitions Librarian at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the Serials, Electronic Resources and Interlibrary Loan Librarian at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York.
