The Chemistry Department at Union College is housed in the Integrated Science and Engineering Complex (ISEC), F.W. Olin Center, and the Peter Irving Wold Center.
Union chemistry and biochemistry students use state-of-the-art instrumentation in laboratory classes and research. Just a few recent examples:
- Environmental analysis using liquid chromatography - mass spectrometry
- Drug discovery using nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy
- Biochemical analysis using multifunction spectroscopy plate readers
- Materials research using scanning electron microscopy
- …and much more!
