Transfers

Transferring to or from Union College

Whether you are transferring to Union College from another U.S. institution or from Union College to another institution, there are academic and immigration steps you will need to complete. The process is different depending on whether you are transferring into or out of Union, so please review the information below that applies to you.

Thinking About Transferring?

If you are considering transferring to or from Union College, do not wait until the last minute to begin the process. Your academic transfer process and your SEVIS transfer are separate processes, and you may need to complete steps with multiple offices.

If you are unsure whether transferring is the right option for you, or if you have questions about how a transfer may affect your F-1 status, contact your Class Dean and International Advising before making any changes that may impact your enrollment or immigration status.
