Hans-Friedrich Mueller, professor of classics, delivered a lecture, "Nox Intempesta: Religious and Legal Oddities of Life at Night in Ancient Rome,” at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. It explored the ancient Roman conception of night as a domain religiously and legally distinct from day.
A story by Kimmo Rosenthal, professor of mathematics, will appear in KYSO Flash Anthology Vol. 3, a print anthology of the best pieces published in 2016. The story is titled Ruby, My Dear.
Christen Gowan, associate director of Media Relations and Social Media, hosted an “Ask the Experts” roundtable on digital strategy at the annual District II meeting of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. Three oil paintings by Tina Lincer, associate director of Communications and Marketing, are included in the 14th Annual Nature Art Show at Thacher Nature Center in Voorheesville, March 11-31.
