Advancement Information Services
Advancement Information Services is the business information unit for the office of College Relations and manages the database of record for the College. AIS is responsible for all strategic development services activities including database record management and reporting, training and data analysis essential to the Advancement enterprise. website
Alumni & Parent Engagement
Facilitates the relationship between the college and its alumni, parents, students and friends through programming, volunteer opportunities, communications and works closely with departments across campus. Our goal is to increase alumni and parent engagement through events and outreach for the purpose of raising awareness and pride in Union College, and to increase involvement as volunteers, ambassadors, student recruiters and as donors. We are responsible for annual events that engage Union alumni, parents and friends with the campus community, including ReUnion, Homecoming and Family Weekend, and various leadership donor events. website
Helps secure contributions to Union College's Annual Fund each year, including leadership gifts. The team also manages our relationship with the Terrace Council, our donor society honoring those who give $2,000 or more to Union annually. website
Communications and Marketing
Promotes Union's strategic objectives, foster a culture of communication among internal and external stakeholders and steward the Union brand by showcasing the benefits of a Union education and building connections between the College and its diverse constituents. website
Corporate, Foundation and Government Relations
Spearheads Union's efforts to secure funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies. Grants support institutional priorities such as: enhancing academic programs, developing innovative curricula, supporting faculty and student research, acquiring new lab equipment and instrumentation, and providing scholarships for students. website
The Office of Donor Relations seeks to sustain and deepen the relationship between the College and its donors through meaningful acknowledgement, recognition, engagement and reporting. It is essential to let our donors know that their financial support is gratefully received, vital to our campus community, is being used according to their stated wishes and expectations, and is worthy of their continued philanthropic support and engagement.

Office of the Vice President
Provides strategic direction and leadership for alumni programs, fundraising efforts and marketing and communications initiatives for the College. Terri Cerveny, the vice president of College Relations, is a member of the president's Senior Staff and works closely with the other vice presidents of the College to support and advance Union's Strategic Plan. website
