You can flip through our Instagram photos and browse our website, but you’ll never truly experience Union College—until you see it for yourself.
Whether you can spend an hour, an afternoon or a full day, Union has a visit option for you. The Office of Admissions is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are also open on selected Saturdays.
Special notes for February 2017:
We expect the week of Presidents' Day (2/20-2/24) to be a busy one on campus. Please allow extra time to find parking and to check in for your event. Click here for campus and parking maps to assist you during your visit.
Additionally 2/20-2/26 is "Restaurant Week" in Schenectady. Enjoy specially priced multi-course meals at local eateries. Click here for participating restaurants and their menus.
Bring your questions. Stroll around campus with a student guide. You’ll explore classrooms, Minerva Houses, arts facilities, the campus center, research labs and more. The visit experience begins with a group information session for prospective students and their families. Next, student volunteers give tours of the campus that typically last 75 minutes. Register for your visit today.
Let's talk. Prepare for an enjoyable conversation about your academic career, interests and personal goals. On-campus interviews are strongly recommended because they allow us to get to know you better, adding another dimension to your admissions application. We interview high school students beginning May 1 of the junior year through Jan. 31 of the senior year. Schedule your interview today.
Get ready for a busy day. You’ll meet students, professors and coaches. Hear panel discussions about academics and student life. Lunch, too! Best of all: at the fall open house, you can choose from hundreds of classes to attend.
This is as real as it gets. Shadow a student on a typical Union day. Sit in on classes, have lunch with future friends, check out the residence halls and live the life of a Union student.
We welcome school groups and community-based organizations to campus for a tour and/or information session. Groups of 10 or more should register in advance. We can only accommodate school groups on weekdays.
If you visit campus when the office is closed, look for the "Self-Guided Walking Tour" and other brochures by the front door. Please let us know you stopped at Union by filling out our visitor card.
